Mission Statement

  • Master Window Cleaners of America is an Association run by our members with our President as the guiding and deciding force. We, working together, determine what our future will be.

  • Our primary goal is to enhance the public image of experienced professional residential and route window cleaners.

  • We endeavor to elevate and enhance the members experience as a business owner and give guidance to promote the members self employment in a civic and business oriented structure in order to increase stature and income.

  • As members we will help other members whenever and wherever we see a need. To help them overcome obstacles in the development and continuity of their business. Whether it be personal or business related; we are here to help.

  • By associating with other experienced professional window cleaners across the country, you will be better able to serve your customers needs.

  • We also encourage a wide range of memberships in window cleaning organizations to give the member a broader view of our industry. In this way the member will experience the full range of tools, techniques and equipment available to accomplish his or her long range business goals.

  • MWCoA will gather and provide helpful information to members in all aspects of window cleaning. Especially in the areas of business ethics, marketing, promotion, production and customer retention.

  • We exist to help you, the professional window cleaner.



  • Article 1-     The name of the Association shall be Master Window Cleaners of America. ( Herein known as MWCoA)

  • Article 2-     The purpose of MWCoA is to improve the image and opportunities for Professional Residential and Route Window Cleaners.
    MWCoA will collect advertising & other information to be shared by the Membership.

  • Article 3-     MWCoA will specialize in recruiting and servicing Professional Residential and Route Window Cleaning Services.

  • Article 4-     The Membership of MWCoA will be divided into 4 categories.
1st: United States Members:
Window Cleaners who reside in and do business within the Continental United States including Alaska and Hawaii.
2nd: International Members:
Window Cleaners from the International Community Worldwide.
3rd: Associate Members:
Manufacturers, Suppliers, Consultants, Service Providers, Trainers and all others that have a Professional interest in the Window Cleaning Industry.
4th: Consultant Members:
Experts in any field that will bring added benefit to the Master Window Cleaners of America Association, its' Members and the Window Cleaning Industry.


  • Article 5-     Members must be in good standing with Sponsors of MWCoA.

  • Article 6-     Members may be removed from the membership roll and/or email forum at any time at the sole discretion of the President and/or Moderator.


  • Mentoring new business owners in order to maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism.

  • Encourage members to maintain the highest ethical standards in all their business activities by the examples set by our leadership.

  • Act as an example of professionalism to promote and uplift the image of the window cleaning industry as a whole.

  • Maintain the highest professional standards of management and service to our members.

  • Provide materials, training and information for our Members to promote safety in the industry and workplace adhering to rules and laws that govern our industry.

  • To be an example for members to follow so they and their employees will strive to embrace the MWCoA Member Ethics Guidelines.

  • Work hand in hand with other associations and organizations in order to improve the window cleaning industry.



  • To provide the best service possible, on time and in a safe and efficient manner.

  • To provide equal and caring service to all customers regardless of ethnicity, religious or political affiliation.

  • To attempt to remedy customer concerns about your Window Cleaning work in a quick and timely manner.

  • To be constantly aware of safety for the customer, yourself and your employees. To ensure that you and your employees have received sufficient training in ladder safety and health issues related to chemical use.

  • To ensure only the highest integrity from your employees regarding customers property and person. Addressing customer concerns about employee conduct and appearance immediately.

  • To provide your employees and yourself with shirts, hats, signs and/or some other means of identification for your customers to have the confidence and assurance that they are dealing with a professional Window Cleaning Service.

  • Remember, as "America's Finest Window Cleaning Professionals" we are representatives of the Master Window Cleaners of America Association. On the job, in our communities and how we conduct ourselves as members on the email forum and on other email groups all reflect on MWCoA.

  • Members must be in good standing with their suppliers and Sponsors of MWCoA.

  • As a Member of this Association please familiarize yourself and your employees with the MWCoA Ethics Guidelines.





  • Nominating Committee shall be made up of 3 Members.

  • The President and the past 2 Window Cleaners of the Month.

  • Each Member of the Committee may nominate 1 Member for Window Cleaner of the Month giving the reasons for nominating that person.

  • Members may nominate for a wide range of reasons including, but not limited to, work behind the scenes, postings on the discussion group or a suggestion that gets implemented.

  • Nominations are sent to the President. The President will compile the list to be voted on. After the vote, the Presidentf shall inform the Committee Members first and then announce the results to the Membership.

  • A Member may only win Window Cleaner of the Month once per calendar year. January to December.

  • The Window Cleaner of the Year is not eligible for Window Cleaner of the Month the following calendar year. January to December.

  • All winners are eligible for Master Window Cleaner of the Year.

  • The Window Cleaner of the Year is voted on by the entire membership in a 2 step process. The 1st vote will result in the top three nominees receiving the most votes going onto the 2nd step which is the vote for the final winner of Window Cleaner of the Year. In the event of a tie, the President will cast the deciding vote.

  • Officials of the Association are not eligible to win Window Cleaner of the Month or Master Window Cleaner of the Year. All other Members are eligible including Committee Members.
